⚙️ Segment-Wise Performance
Aluminum & Alumina
Vedanta achieved record quarterly and half-yearly production at Lanjigarh, reflecting strong plant performance and efficiency improvements at both Jharsuguda and BALCO smelters.
Zinc India
Mined metal production reached a record 258 kt in Q2 and 523 kt in H1, the best in company history. Refined zinc output rose 2% YoY, while silver production stood at 144 tonnes in line with lead operations.
Zinc International
Production touched 60 kt, a 38% YoY increase, led by higher mined volumes and improved grades at the Gamsberg site.
Oil & Gas
Average gross operated production came in at 89.3 kboepd, down 15% YoY due to natural decline at mature fields and regulatory constraints, partly offset by stable performance from Cambay.
Iron Ore & Steel
Iron ore output fell due to heavy rainfall, but pig iron hit record highs after debottlenecking blast furnace operations. Saleable steel output was temporarily lower because of furnace maintenance.
Power
With the commissioning of Meenakshi Phase-2 (700 MW) and Athena (600 MW), Vedanta expanded its power portfolio significantly. The TSPL plant maintained 90% availability, ensuring steady revenue.
