Servotech Secures Northern Railway Order for 1.2 MW Rooftop Solar Project

Servotech Renewable Power System Limited has announced that it has bagged a significant order from the Moradabad Division of Northern Railway. The project involves setting up a 1.2 MW rooftop solar power system across residential buildings in the division.

Project Highlights

  • Scope of Work: Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-grid connected solar power plants.
  • Additional Services: The order also includes associated electrical works and a 10-year comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
  • Contract Value: ₹57.5 crore (approx).
  • Timeline: The project is to be completed within 12 months from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA).
  • Nature of Order: Domestic, awarded under General Contract Conditions.

This project is another step towards green energy adoption in Indian Railways, supporting the government’s push for sustainability and reduced carbon footprint. Rooftop solar installations in residential colonies will not only cut down electricity costs but also promote cleaner energy use across railway divisions.
