September 30, 2025:
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced receipt of Notifications of Award (NOA) from Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd. (MPPGCL) for two major thermal power projects.
The orders, worth between ₹13,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore (excluding taxes and duties), cover Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) packages for:
- 1×660 MW Amarkantak Unit 6
- 1×660 MW Satpura Unit 12
Both are supercritical thermal power plants located in Madhya Pradesh.
