KPIT Technologies Limited has announced a major milestone in its global expansion strategy by increasing its stake in N-Dream AG, a Switzerland-based cloud gaming aggregation platform, to 88.9%. The acquisition was completed through its wholly owned subsidiary, KPIT Technologies (UK) Limited, for a total consideration of €16.35 million.
With this transaction, N-Dream AG officially becomes a step-down subsidiary of KPIT Technologies, further strengthening KPIT’s foothold in next-generation automotive software solutions.
A Strategic Move Toward the “Cockpit of the Future”
This investment marks a significant step in KPIT’s long-term vision to enhance driver and passenger experiences through digital innovation.
N-Dream’s cloud-based platform specializes in game aggregation technology, allowing integration of gaming and interactive entertainment into connected vehicles. KPIT plans to leverage this technology to help Automotive OEMs deliver personalized, monetizable in-car experiences — a growing trend in modern electric and connected vehicles.
According to KPIT, the company will offer software integration and validation services for N-Dream’s automotive clients. Both firms will also collaborate to create data-driven, value-added features that can generate new revenue streams for automakers.
From Minority Stake to Majority Control
KPIT’s journey with N-Dream began in November 2023, when it first acquired a 13% stake in the Swiss startup.
- In July 2024, KPIT increased its holding to 26%.
- By August 2025, it had raised its ownership to 51%, turning N-Dream into its subsidiary.
- Now, with an 88.9% controlling stake, KPIT is set to further scale its collaboration, with plans to reach up to 90% ownership during the current financial year.
