Ola Electric Launches Festive “Ola Celebrates India” Campaign with EVs Starting at ₹49,999

Ola Electric, India’s largest EV manufacturer, has announced its festive season campaign “Ola Celebrates India.” As part of this initiative, the company has rolled out the “Muhurat Mahotsav,” offering scooters and motorcycles at never-before prices starting from just ₹49,999 for a limited period of 9 days.

Key Highlights of the Muhurat Mahotsav

  • EVs starting at ₹49,999 – S1 X (2kWh) and Roadster X (2.5kWh)
  • Premium EVs at ₹99,999 – S1 Pro+ (5.2kWh) and Roadster X+ (9.1kWh) with 4680 Bharat Cell battery packs
  • Limited units available daily on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Special “muhurat” time slots announced daily on Ola’s social media handles

Celebrating India, the Ola Way

The campaign highlights Ola’s belief that India’s progress must be rooted in its own identity. According to the company, “true modernity does not come from imitation, but from rediscovering and reactivating the Indian way of progress.”

Speaking on the campaign, an Ola Electric spokesperson said:

“With Ola Celebrates India, we’re combining progress, culture, and accessibility. The Muhurat Mahotsav is about more than prices—it’s about making world-class EVs a part of every Indian household while celebrating our traditions and values.”

Ola’s Growing EV Portfolio

Ola currently offers a wide range of S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles across multiple price points:

  • S1 Gen 3 scooters priced between ₹81,999 – ₹1,69,999
  • Roadster motorcycles priced between ₹99,999 – ₹1,27,499
  • Premium models powered by the new 4680 Bharat Cell, including the S1 Pro+ (5.2kWh) and Roadster X+ (9.1kWh), with deliveries beginning this Navratri
  • Entry into the sports scooter category with the new S1 Pro Sport, starting at ₹1,49,999, with deliveries from January 2026

Backed by Strong R&D and Manufacturing

Ola’s EVs are built at the company’s Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu, one of the world’s largest EV manufacturing hubs. The facility is supported by the Battery Innovation Centre (BIC) in Bengaluru, focusing on advanced cell and battery technology. Ola also runs R&D centers in India, the UK, and the US.

With more than 4,000 experience stores across India and a direct-to-customer online model, Ola Electric continues to expand its presence and bring EVs closer to Indian households.
