The new line will increase Maggi’s annual output by 20,600 tons, raising the total installed capacity to nearly 141,600 tons per annum.
Key details of the expansion:

- Capacity utilization: ~80%
- Proposed addition: 20,600 tons per annum
- Investment: ₹85 crore (funded via internal accruals)

Nestlé highlighted that this capacity boost is part of its ongoing 2020–2025 capital expenditure plan, covering both greenfield and brownfield projects, aimed at meeting India’s growing demand for Maggi.
