India’s renewable energy push just got a major boost. Inox Wind and KP Energy have teamed up to develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects across multiple states, marking one of the largest collaborations in the sector.
What This Partnership Means
The two companies have signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine their strengths and speed up large-scale project development.
Here’s how the responsibilities will be shared:
Inox Wind & Subsidiaries
- Supplying Wind Turbine Generators and related equipment
- Providing engineering support—USS design, transformer specs, and foundation design
- Handling pre-commissioning, commissioning, and O&M for wind turbines
- Inox Renewable Solutions: Limited-scope wind EPC services
- Inox Green Energy: Wind O&M services
KP Energy
- Securing connectivity, land, and right-of-way
- Obtaining statutory approvals
- Executing Balance of Plant (BoP) and other EPC works
- Managing O&M for the Balance of Plant
Why It Matters
This partnership pairs Inox Wind’s strong turbine technology capabilities with KP Energy’s proven on-ground execution experience. Together, they aim to deliver fully integrated renewable energy assets faster, with higher efficiency and more reliable quality.
The collaboration is expected to:
