Indian stock markets are closed today, November 5, 2025 (Wednesday), on account of Prakash Gurpurab, the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Trading will remain suspended on both the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) for the full day. Normal market operations will resume tomorrow, Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Prakash Gurpurab is one of the most sacred festivals in Sikhism, celebrating the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikh faith and a symbol of peace and compassion.
